ECREAM

Coordinated by Vivid Components Germany through the Horizon Europe project SYMPHONY, ECREAM (European Cluster of Research projects for Environmental and Agri-food Monitoring) was established in 2021 and brings together multiple EU-funded projects working in environmental and food monitoring. The cluster unites diverse research initiatives that share objectives, technologies, and partners to ensure compatibility of results, avoid duplication, and facilitate knowledge exchange among the European research community.

ECREAM provides a collaborative platform for projects focused on advanced sensing technologies, spectral analysis, pollution detection, and sustainable monitoring solutions. Current member projects include SYMPHONY, BROMEDIR, DARE2CYCLE, EVOQUE, GASPOF, GREENER, HortiQD, ICPLASTIC, MULTILAB, NEXT2DIGITS, and URBAQUANTUM, representing a wide spectrum of cutting-edge research in photonics, quantum sensing, and environmental diagnostics.

Through regular workshops, special sessions at conferences, and joint exhibition booths, ECREAM strengthens collaboration across European research teams and accelerates the development of innovative monitoring technologies. This unified approach enhances the impact of individual projects while creating synergies that advance the broader goals of environmental protection and sustainable agriculture across Europe.
