PurPest at the EABRACE Workshop

Luís Filipe Bonifácio, member of the INIAV team, was invited as a keynote speaker at the EABRACE Workshop – First Years of Baltic Co-Partners Experience, coordinated by Professor Iryna Matsiakh (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences).

The event took place in Krakow, Poland, from 15–17 October 2025, organized by Professor Magdalena Kacprzyk (Uniwersytet Rolniczy w Krakowie).

During the workshop, Luís Bonifácio delivered a keynote presentation entitled Ecological relevance of quarantine pests' detection,” highlighting the importance of monitoring and understanding the ecological impact of pest detection in forestry and agriculture.

This participation reinforced PurPest’s active contribution to European collaboration and knowledge exchange on sustainable pest management and plant protection.
