PurPest at the Annual Meeting of Entomological Society of America

Ted Turlings was an invited speaker at the Annual Meeting of the Entomological Society of America, that took place between 5-8 November 2023 in Washington, USA, in a well-attended session entitled Bodyguards for Plants: Integrating Indirect Defense into Plant Breeding and Pest Management. The efforts to develop ways to use odor sensors that can detect the presence of crop pests in real-time was presented.
